Slowly we are getting out of lockdown. Our shops will soon reopen, albeit in a different manner. There will be more plastic screens, strups on the ground to keep us apart and rukes to adhere to.
But at some point soon we will feel some normality. we will stand together again without fear. We will shake hands and we will hug loved ones and friends.
Ainsdale will return to its original way, and some suspect it will be even better.
One thing that has shone though these odd months is community. A sense of belonging to something bigger than just you, your family, your house or even your neighbourhood. Ainsdale is a community, a togetherness of people who are there for each other.
I am a proud Ainsdale resident.
So what next. What will be great about our Ainsdale? What can we do to keep it great? What would you like to see happen now?
There’s been suggestions of a get together (i know sounds weird doesn’t it). Or a gathering with music. We missed the Ainsdale Show which for many is a fantastic day.
